Jetframe
122
Jetframe
122 is mainly used mounted on to a carrier of some kind. The system is
a versatile and remotely operated, computer controlled high pressure water
jetting machine for the selective removal of concrete from confined spaces
and areas and surfaces inaccessible to Conjet Robots.
The
Jetframe can be mounted on a sky lift access platform, telescoping boom
forklift truck or other similar long reach equipment. The versatile Jetframe
system can operate on a variety of horizontal, vertical and angled surfaces,
including dam faces and on the underside of bridge decks.
Design
The Jetframe 122 consists of a rectangular frame supported on four legs
which can either rest or be bolted to the surface being repaired.
The frame supports and directs a special high pressure water jetting nozzle.
The nozzle, covered by a protective shroud, oscillates and runs back and
forth along a feed beam
The
water jet operates with a sweeping action and cuts away concrete behind
any reinforcement. The feed beam runs on the Jetframe aluminium side rails
with all movements controlled by a rack and pinion drive. The Jetframe
is typically powered and operated from a small and light 11 kW electric
driven hydraulic Computer Controlled Unit, CCU 197. The Jetframe 122 can
also be controlled by the Robot 363 and Robot 322 as well as the Robot
432. When using the robot as the control source, the distance to the jetframe
is limited.
Fitted
with the optional hydraulically driven rotor head the Jetframe 122 is
ideal for surface preparation on concrete or steel surfaces.
Recommended
for whom?
The Jetframe system is recommended to be used when the robot for various
reasons can not access the surface that needs to be removed. The Jetframe
122 is often mounted on to a all terrain fork lift, sky lift or any other
kind of carrier.
Features
- Replaces
dangerous work such as jack hammering and hand lancing in confined areas.
- Electrical
drivenin
order to protect the operator from exhaust inside a building.
- Remotely
operated.
-
See additional features in the hydrodemolition
method.
Power
and reaction force
The Powerpack, high pressure water pump, recommended for the Jetframe
122 to be used are Powerpacks rated 300kW (410 hp) up to 550kW (750 hp)
as long as the allowed reaction force is not exceeded. The maximum reaction
force Jetframe 122 is designed for is 2000N (Newton) which is equal to
270 l/min. (71 US gal/min.) at 1000 bar (14500 psi) or 220 l/min. (58
US gal/min.) at 1400 bar (20300 psi)
