Robot
432 D
You
asked for high production - you got it! Conjet Robot 432 D is a diesel
powered giant, designed for heavy-duty hydrodemolition jobs on large-scale
projects. A diesel powered, high capacity Robot ready to take on the really
large-scale projects for horizontal removal such as bridges, parking decks
and other large areas. The robot can simultaneously handle two pumps each
rated at 550kW (750hp).
The
removal rate of the concrete is massive, drastically cutting production
time with a minimum of operators, a benefit for the Robot user as well
as the owner of the structure under repair. The diesel powered Robot 432
D is developed according to the same proven and well known principles
found in all Conjet products, including productivity, reliability, profitability
and safety.
Fitted
with the optional hydraulically driven rotor head the Robot is ideal for
surface preparation on concrete bridge decks or industrial floors or steel
surface preparation such as ship decks.
Design
The Robot 432 D is powered by the latest low emission Deutz diesel engine.
The 3-wheeled Robot can turn on the spot, which, despite its capability
to handle big pumps, enables it to work in tight areas, such as parking
decks. Although the design is still compact, Robot 432 D is exceptionally
powerful. The low height of just 1500mm (4 ft 11 in) means it will easily
pass under low obstacles in a parking deck or other inaccessible areas.
The
Robot is equipped with three lifting points as well as lifting device
for fork lifts in order load and unload the Robot easily or when it needs
to be positioned in an inaccessible site. Other valuable features are
the feed beam side movement and tipping. The specially designed shroud,
integrated in the feed beam, is extra large for best protection against
flying debris and noise.
For
transportation and working close to walls, the outer parts on the feed
beam protection hood are detachable.
The
Robot is remotely controlled for easy adjustment of working positions
as well as for safe moving on the worksite. The integral Deutz diesel
engine is oversized, for trouble free operation and long life, and meets
all known emission legislation worldwide.
PLC
controlled control system
The operation is monitored from a safe location at the back of the robot.
From this position all parameters are set and speeds adjusted, so there
is no need to climb up the cutting head to adjust the cutting width and
whatever you set yesterday is remembered today.
The
remote control box is used to manoeuvre all functions of the robot. This
includes the positioning of the cutting head, jacks and wheels. Automatic
operation commences by pushing the appropriate button.
Speed
and revolutions are set from a small panel at the back of the robot next
to a small operator's terminal. The terminal provides the operator with
information of the ongoing work.
Recommended
for whom?
This robot is suitable for customers requiring high production at large
scale projects were the time is of importance or if the customer is mainly
working with repair of bridges and parking decks.
Features
- Replaces
dangerous work such as hand lancing and jack hammering in confined areas.
- Diesel
driven as it designed for large scale projects outside.
- Remotely
operated.
- See
additional features in the hydrodemolition
method.
Power
and reaction force
The Powerpack, high pressure water pump, recommended for the Robot 432
D to be used are Powerpacks rated 400 kW (535 hp) up to 1100 kW (21500
hp) as long as the allowed reaction force is not exceeded. The maximum
reaction force Robot 432 D is designed for is 4000N (Newton) which is
equal to 540 or 2 x 270 l/min. (140 or 2 x 70 gal/min.) at 1000 bar (14500
psi) or 440 or 2 x 220 l/min. (116 or 2 x 58 gal/min.) at 1400 bar (20300
psi).
