New guide about hydrodemolition

May 31, 2022/in Company News /by Rebecca nilsson

For over 35 years, we have led the development of robotic hydrodemolition technology – a technology with a proven track record as the most sustainable and effective method for concrete removal and other types of surface preparation.

We know that hydrodemolition is the best technique when repairing damaged concrete. In our mission to educate and spread the word about hydrodemolition we have teamed up with our friends at Aquajet and EWJI (European Water Jet Institute) to create a shared material about hydrodemolition. And now we can proudly present the guide “Why use Hydrodemolition?”.

Robert Kreicberg, CEO, stated,

“We have a common interest of increasing the awareness and understanding of  hydrodemolition as a method and concept and to highlight all the advantages that comes with it. The content of the guide is of objective nature, focusing on the benefits of hydrodemolition as a superior technique for concrete demolition & removal, and we hope you will find the guide useful and informative.”

Hydrodemolition technology using the tensile strength of the water that, in combination with high pressure, penetrates the concrete, creating an over-pressure that “blasts” the concrete away. We have incorporated our amazing technology and long experience into our state-of-the-art robots which enables you to do the work of up to 25 jackhammer operators, reducing cost and increasing productivity and safety. Some of the other advantages using hydrodemolition are:

  • OPTIMAL BOND Does not create micro-cracks in the remaining structure, which ensures that the repair will be long lasting and high quality.
  • SUSTAINABILITY Extends the useful life of the structure. Eliminates vibrations and dust; dramatically reduces noise.
  • PRECISION Allows selective removal of damaged concrete only, or non-selective removal to a predetermined depth.

You can read and download the guide here.

If you have further questions related to the conctent in general or specifically regarding our technology ACR™ (Automated Concrete Removal) Robots, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to support you!

Conjet goes on European Demo tour!

November 1, 2021/in Blog post, Company News /by Varsha Rai

The advantages of using the hydrodemoliton technology are many. Now Conjet goes on a European Demo tour to show you the robots in action. We want to show you what our amazing robots can do!

For over 35 years, we have led the development of robotic hydrodemolition technology – a technology with a proven track record as the most sustainable and effective method for concrete removal and other types of surface preparation. Hydrodemolition technology using the tensile strenght of the water that, in combination with high pressure, penetrates the concrete, creating an over-pressure that “blasts” the concrete away.

We could go on and on talking about the benefits of hydrodemolition but we figured, why don’t we just show you? We are going on a European demo tour in September and October. We visit three of our distributors in France, Netherlands and Portugal. With us we are bringing a Robot 557 and a Nalta. Come and see the automated concrete removal robots in action, ask all the questions you have and meet Team Conjet.

Michel Duras, Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, stated,

“Hydrodemoliton is still a pretty unknown technique that we want to show to the world. Everyone can see that a robot looks good on paper, but customers need to see it in real life to fully understand the greatness. We are certain that if you can see the benefits of our automated concrete removal robots with your own eyes you would never choose anything else for concrete removal, surface preparation and paint removal. We are looking forward to meet our distributors and customers and show them our robots in action.”

Dates

September 20 Le Perray, France – Hammelman

September 23-24 Rotterdam, Holland – Overmat

October 6-7 Azeitão, Portugal – Maquesonda

If you want to know more or rsvp to a demo day please contact Michel Duras.

Conjet Opens North American Headquarters

November 1, 2021/in Company News /by Varsha Rai

Conjet’s North American Team; Stephen Sistrunk, Rick Larsson, Andy Antle and Tim Best.

Conjet AB, the leading global manufacturer of Automated Concrete Removal (ACR™) robots, has officially opened its North American headquarters location in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The headquarters, which consists of offices, indoor/outdoor training areas and a large warehouse, will help Conjet achieve its two primary goals of (1) helping customers to be successful on every project, and (2) growing the overall market demand for hydrodemolition services. Specifically, the Charlotte headquarters will offer:

  • Large inventory of 7-Series spare parts, available for overnight delivery.
  • Training facilities to help customers’ field personnel improve their skills.
  • Demonstration facilities to educate asset owners, engineers and other specifiers on hydrodemolition’s benefits and proper techniques.
  • Service area for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Corporate offices to house Conjet’s sales, aftersales support and back-office team in North America.

The headquarters is located at the CLT Logistics Park, 3400 International Airport Drive, Suite 100, which is less than ten minutes from the Charlotte International Airport. Stephen Sistrunk, the North American CEO of Conjet Inc., stated,

“The Charlotte location was chosen based on a number of factors, one of the most important being ease of access for our customers. Since our headquarters is located less than 10 minutes from the CLT airport, ranked #4 nationally in direct domestic flights, most of our customers and other industry stakeholders can fly into Charlotte in the morning for demos and training, enjoy a full day of education, and easily be back home in time to sleep in their own bed that evening. We are extremely excited to be able to offer this level of accessibility to the market.”

Daily operations at the Charlotte headquarters will be handled by Andy Antle, who was recently hired to serve as Operations Manager. Prior to joining Conjet, Andy graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in Business Analytics. He then went to work for Amazon where he served as Area Manager at their Charlotte distribution facility and was responsible for supervising a team of 80+ and dispatching more than 60,000 packages each day. At the new Conjet headquarters, Andy will oversee order administration, inventory and logistics.
Stephen Sistrunk commented,

“Opening the Charlotte headquarters is a huge step forward for Conjet as we execute on our goals of providing the highest possible level of support to customers and growing the overall market demand for hydrodemolition services. Team Conjet is very happy to finally have a central base of operations in North America where we can meet with our customers face-to-face, provide educational opportunities, and further enhance our level of support. In the near future we will be hosting an open house where we will bring together industry participants, perform equipment demonstrations and offer training on ACR™ techniques and benefits. Stay tuned for more details on our next open house. Until then, please feel free to drop by and visit us in Charlotte any time!”
