Conjet Partners with Reprotex to Provide Wastewater Recycling

May 27, 2021/in Company News /by Varsha Rai

Conjet is excited to announce that we have entered into a global sales agreement with Reprotex GmbH.

Reprotex, headquartered in Austria, develops and manufactures mobile wastewater treatment plants. Reprotex’s plants are used around the world for containing, treating and recycling wastewater that is produced in all types of high pressure (HP) water applications, including hydrodemolition, tank cleaning, ship repair and de-coating, pavement demarcation, and many other industrial cleaning operations.

With the growing demand for hydrodemolition and other HP water applications, it is important to ensure that operations are performed in a sustainable manner. This includes the need to capture and treat wastewater before discharging it into the environment. With this innovative system, the wastewater can also be recycled and reused, further decreasing environmental impact and operating costs for contractors.

The Reprotex Mobile Filtration Device (“MFD_R200”) uses multiple internal filtration processes to remove particulates down to <1 data-preserve-html-node=”true” micron, allowing treated water to be recirculated into the HP pump. An integrated digital sensor continuously monitors the pH-value of treated water and triggers automatic neutralization using CO2, if necessary, to ensure compliance with water discharge legislation. In cases where chemical pollutants are present, the MFD can be combined with additional wastewater treatment technologies (e.g. oil-separator, active carbon, ion-exchanger).

Robert Kreicberg, Conjet’s Chief Executive Officer, stated,

“We are very excited to partner with Reprotex to further enhance the sustainability and profitability of our customers’ operations. For the past 35 years, Conjet has focused exclusively on designing and manufacturing cutting-edge hydrodemolition robots. As demand for our ACR robots grows we have recognized that our customers also have an increasing desire to optimize their water usage, whether as a result of legal requirements, to maximize profitability, or just to practice good environmental stewardship. With Conjet and Reprotex, our customers can utilize a ‘closed water circuit’ – where water will circulate from the pump to the ACR robot, to the MFD unit, and back to the pump for continued usage.”

Martin Watzka, the Chief Financial Officer of Reprotex, commented,

“The partnership of our two companies merges two innovative technologies into a new and unrivaled application: hydrodemolition in a closed water circuit. Safe, cost efficient and sustainable. And perfect match for our clients as well as the environment!”
